The ship is beautiful!! But, Costa Maya it's one of the worst ports that I ever did. Very surprise because Mexico and Quintana Roo are always good!. The place was bad and you couldn't leave on your own. The investor that put the money to create the place wants everyone to spend money ONLY inside the place. He or They want it to copy Atlantis or Disney but did a bad job. There are not beaches inside so the entire cruise has to use the pools and facilities including a water park. If you want to leave the place on your own you will find that everyone works against you to the point of telling us that they don't have taxis. A lie!But they offer you a golf cart($60 for 3 hours) or wait (long lines) to go on a cart(??) to see Mahahuel. Surprise enough! Mahahuel is 10 blocks that smells really bad and you cannot go to the beach either. If you are creative and realize that they do have taxis, then you can attempt to visit the beaches But you will realize, soon enough, that you can't. Ubero beach won't allow you to go in, and the people at the door will treat you like a criminal. DO NOT GO THERE! DO NOT VISIT COSTA MAYA!! It's a rip off. The ship is beautiful and the shows are amazing! The room was dirty as hell!! Deck 7 avoid it because smells bad all the time. This cruise is for drinkers! You have to pay extra for everything that is good!. You are not treated like Royalty for sure! Thermal suite is too small and doesn't have as many things as other ships. The ship staff is not friendly or experienced except waiters and bartenders. The entertainment team and shows are the best thing on this cruise!!

Cabin J2

Nice cabin but very dirty. And the cleaning person was not good. Deck 7 was terrible. Smell really bad, like rotten cabbage all the time.
