We chose this cruise as it was advertised as 5 star, everything was 5 star except the food, which was awful.
The standard of the food was unacceptable for a cruise of this quality - one and a half hour wait for the main course, inedible raw tough meat that had supposedly been cooked for 8 hours, half empty buffets,lemon meringue pie with the uncooked egg whites raw on top, to name but some of the problems.
Dining in Portobello's and the Captains dinner was no better. The Captain's dinner starter being scallops, which turned out to be one scallop, which when cut into it was raw so not eaten , lobster came , looked good but was once small piece of lobster and the rest of the shell was filled with mushrooms in cheese sauce.
