We choose this cruise because we always wanted to go to Bora Bora and the cruise included Hawaii, American Samoa, Tahiti, and Moorea.

The Emerald Princess was a nice ship but it was starting to show wear. The seats in the explorer lounge were like sitting in a hole. On a positive note, the beds were great and very comfortable. We stayed in a mini suite which gave us breathing room during a 28 day cruise.

The food was hit or miss between average and very good. Service was very good in all the dining rooms.

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MB

We had a very spacious mini-suite. Large bedroom area with tv and separate sitting area with a full couch, chair and tv. The balcony was average size. The beds were very comfortable. The couch was a sleeper and stiff and the cushions wouldn't fit in properly.

The bathroom was larger with a tub.

Overall we were happy we went with the mini-suite over a balcony.

Port Reviews

Kauai

Rented a car and did our own sightseeing. Have been there 2 times previously.

Pago Pago

Lovely people and island. Not a tremendous amount to see but the people were delightful and the island was beautiful.
