We chose this cruise because of the ports. On a 7 day cruise, I like as few days at Seas as possible. This cruise offered 4 different ports, none of which I had ever visited. Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Belize and Costa Maya. I have always wanted to visit Stingray City in Grand Cayman and it did not disappoint. The crystal clear blue water is something you have to see in your lifetime. In Cozumel we booked a Dolphin Encounter excursion which included lunch and beverages. They took us to Dolphinaris where we got in the water with a dolphin and a dolphin trainer taught us about this lovely creature and each and every one of us had the chance to pet, kiss and shake fins with the dolphin. I thought that it would be rushed but we had at least 30 minutes as a group with the dolphin. There was also great shopping in Cozumel. Costa Maya was a beautiful port, with so much culture. We booked a beach day in Costa Maya which included Transportation to and from the beach and guaranteed you a beach chair. We were greeted by a waiter that escorted us to our beach chairs and came around taking food and drink orders. We had the option to buy an all inclusive drink pass but we declined. We spent a couple of hours on the beach and then went back to port for some shopping. I loved all of the ports except Belize was just OK. It’s one of those places where if you don’t have an excursion booked, there’s really not much to see/do. There were a few shops in the port where we bought some souvenirs. Belize is great if you’re into zip lines or tubing through a cave, I’m not really into that.

The staff on this ship was very friendly and attentive. Our housekeeper, waiter and assistant waiter were very quick to learn and remember our names and always greeted us pleasantly with a smile. They treated us as if we were a special guest in their home for the week. Top notch, First class service all the way around. The food was amazing from breakfast thru dinner and beyond!!! The food choices in the Windjammer cafe were just beyond belief. So many food choices to pick from, there is no way that anybody was getting off of that ship feeling hungry. If you didn’t eat well, it’s on you. The ship was immaculately clean!!! Housekeeping works extremely hard and it shows.

If I had to say a ‘con’ about this cruise and ship, I guess it would be about the evening entertainment. I wish that there were better shows to go see in the evenings. My only other ‘con’ is the cost of the internet, I felt that was kind of high so we only bought a day pass on one of the “at sea” days. Many ships are now offering free WiFi. I also felt that the beverage packages were pricey, even if you buy them at a discount prior to cruising considering the fact that most of the day is spent off the ship in a port. We paid per drink.
