Loyal to princess cruise only because of loyalty program; platinum status. Embarkation was a breeze very helpful staff getting my totally disabled mom on the ship. Had suite on Rivera deck, close to elevators. Cabin staff was very helpful in accommodating all our funky needs. Rooms very dated needs new furniture. Pull out couch disgusting. The new club class dining was outstanding. Very attentive staff looked after all our needs and accommodations. As always the entertainment was so so basic cruise entertainment.
The only problem we really had was disembarkation. When we first arrived I explained that we needed to keep all of my mothers medical equipment; oxygen, ventilator, special toilet and suitcase until the morning of departure. "No problem" Called the day before we disembarked and explained again or needs. "NO problem just call the morning of and we will take care of it. NOT was a jumbled mess. 1st told us that they couldn't accommodated us and we would have to remove all out belongings ourselves, then told us they could take it to the gangway, then ok someone will help us but you need to stay with your belongings in your room until departure time of 9:45 am (so no breakfast). After finally getting a higher up person did they agree to get all of my moms belongings off the ship. Yeah breakfast one last time. Went to get items in pick up area and the oxygen machine is clearly broken in two pieces.
