After reading a lot of the reviews we didn't know what to expect, so we took the advice to think of the ship as a floating hotel. In my opinion this was much more than a floating hotel. We loved the ship, the food, the service and the ports. We have no complaints. Most of the crew were very friendly and did a great job. Although the ship was almost full we never waited more than a few mins for a table, never really had to wait in line to get on or off the ship (except for about 30min when checking in). Our room was small, but no smaller than other ships, clean and well maintained. We signed up for the wine package when we got on board. 3 specialty restaurants and 3 bottles of wine for 175$. I'm so glad we did this. It was nice to have those special restaurants to look forward to. It included, Lazy J's Steakout, East Meets West (Asian Food) and Jeffersons bistro (french food). All were excellent, and since we made our reservations right away, there was never any waiting. We also really enjoyed the liberty and skyline dining rooms. There really wasn't a need to use the specialty restaurants but we thought it would be nice to try them out. The food in the dining room was also excellent. Also we quite enjoyed the buffet food as well. There seemed to be a good selection, and most of it was kept pretty hot. AND the Cadillac Diner was awesome. Great pub type food!

We did 4 tours for 100$ through Roberts Hawaii. I highly recommend them, they are much cheaper than the NCL tours and stop at all the same places if not more than the NCL tours. I know this because our buses always ended up at the same spots. The drivers were very knowledgeable and friendly and really added to the tour experience. We even ended up with a private sunset tour of the Haleakala (sp?) Crater in Maui as we were the only ones who had booked it. We did the South Maui Beach Transfer for our second "tour". Basically the bus picks you up from the pier and drops you off at the beach. It was a great beach with lots of shops and restaurants across the street. The third tour we took was the Volcano National Park tour, same thing, they pick you up and drop you off at the pier. This tour involved a few stops on the way to the volcano and a few on the way back. (Macadamia factory, orchid farm, chocolate factory etc. Great samples!) The park itself was very cool. The driver took us to a few different spots for some walking around and pictures. The last tour we took was to the Waimea Canyon. This one had a few stops as well, and unfortunately when we got up to the canyon it was completely fogged in. We couldn't see a think. Thankfully we had only paid a small amount for the trip. We would have been much more disappointed if we had booked it through the ship and paid double or triple the price.

Also all ports had free shuttles to different shopping areas and Kauai even had a free shuttle to the beach area. If you want to go to the beach in Kona there is a shuttle for 5$ each way that takes you to Turtle Beach. We didn't go but we heard it was nice. If you want a beach in Maui, We heard it was 30-50$ by taxi, that's why we booked the roberts beach transfer.
