We chose this cruise because of the destinations. We have travelled before to Asia in February. It is interesting as it’s the Chinese New Year celebrations. Halong bay is awesome. The weather in all destinations was pleasantly hot ho chi min was the hottest at 33 degrees. The millennium is a lovely ship the food was lovely and the theatre very comfortable with excellent shows. Cafe el bacio served speciality coffees and cakes. Often musicians played there in the evenings. Our outside cabin was spacious and the bed and pillows very comfortable. We took two of the ships excursions which seemed good value for money, the outdoor pool seemed to be salt water and quite warm. They had an indoor sanctuary pool very warm with massage jets and jacuzzis. The staff and cabin stewards was so pleasant and helpful nothing was too much trouble. The ship was very clean and the dining rooms very pleasant and appealing.

This is our third celebrity cruise and each time we have had their classic drinks package. It covers most good quality wines and spirits as well as bottled water and speciality coffees. Our embarkation and when we disembarked went smoothly. We waited 15 minutes initially to board and when we left walked straight out to pick our cases up. There are always plenty of staff around to help with questions and queries.

Cabin Review

Ocean View 5

Cabin 05

3025 was a well located quiet cabin. It was on the same floor as the reception. As we like to use the stairs we found it convenient to the dining room and I the theatre.

Port Reviews

Hong Kong

We explored Hong Kong by MTR and bus and found it easy. We visited Victoria Peak and Stanley market. We followed a map and had great fun. The fairs for public transport are so cheap. We walked from Victoria peak through the people’s park to the MTR station so much going on. We loved Hong Kong

Hanoi

We walked from the cruise ship and found the surrounding area interesting and easy to walk to places and the MTR station

Da Nang

There was a market outside which was interesting we bought a few souvenirs we explored the local area which was countryside.

Kaohsiung

We walked for four hours and explored the surrounding areas it was easy to do your own thing here.

Taipei (Keelung)

This port was very exciting. We went on the train for one hour to Taipei. Then caught the MTR to building 101. This was the highlight for us the building is a world trade centre. It’s the third highest building in the world. We paid the equivalent of eighteen pounds a ticket to go by lift to the ninety first floor to view Taipei. It was wonderful. Highly recommended. Just a tip it’s easier and get to Taipei by bus we were told afterwards.
