We chose this cruise due to the length of the cruise, the timing, and previous RCCL experiences . However, this experience on Royal Caribbean was pretty much the same as I’ve been seeing online, less than satisfying, especially for Crown and Anchor higher level customers. The quality of service from the employees is not what it has been in the past, sadly. It is obvious that Royal Caribbean does not value the guest experience any longer, but rather, profit driven only. And it’s obvious, the reduced number of staff is taking it’s toll on the existing/remaining staff. Bar service is greatly degraded, I saw at least 2-3 bars that are permanently closed, and many others that are very understaffed, greatly increasing service times, they want the money ahead of time for the drink packages, but don’t want to perform the agreed upon services/products, again, sadly! The women’s steam room was intermittent in the beginning of the cruise, by day 3, way completely inoperative. Sadly, this wasn’t isolated, 1 elevator was out of service the entire cruise, greatly increasing the wait times. Overall, a decent time, just not a memorable one, it may be time to look elsewhere, such as MSC or Princess, this depends on whether RCCL cares what their Diamond level guests input is, or value real world experiences!
Service was great by Savio, room is looking tired and needs to be refreshed, carpet was dirty, my feet were black most of the trip.
We boarded, no excursions.
Great local area, very nice people, it was nice to have a new destinstion.
Always a great beach day! Slow bar service though, again, not enough bartenders
