I was originally supposed to cruise on the Fascination on December 10th but Carnival called me 30 days before my cruise and said they were repurposing the ship for the San Juan disaster. I ended up spending double the money on this cruise because psychologically I was ready for my vacation/cruise.

I ended up going on this cruise by myself due to a relationship ending. I don't think I will ever cruise by myself again as it was uncomfortable.

The ship was okay. I toured it after embarkation and found everyone trying to sell me something and was saved by the mandatory muster drill.

Cabin Review

Ocean View

Cabin 6B

It was the perfect size since it was just me. A bit dated though. My steward was great! It was clean and AC/heat worked great. The only two issues were the TV size and the noise. Way too close to the elevators and could hear people at all hours. The TV was far too small to view from the sofa or the bed.

Port Reviews

Miami

Quick and easy embarkation

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

Way too many barracudas in the water!

Nice.

Cozumel

Interesting.
