I had always wanted to take a Viking cruise for my 60th birthday. It not only met, but exceeded my expectations. The cabin was comfortable and our cabin steward was amazing. Each day with the excursions our cruise director, Dominique would remind us to bring our voice boxes and the crew handed out bottled water. Each included excursion was interesting and showed us whatever port we were in. Paid for 2 extra excursions; a dinner out and Colmar, France. Well worth it. The bartenders were very attentive and remembered that I like champagne. When I would, walk into the bar, he would poor me a glass. Nice touch. The food was delicious. Each morning the breakfast buffet provided everything you could want. One morning they served fresh, hot donuts. YUM! The farewell German dinner was fun and the waitstaff was wonderful. There was a young waiter named Patrick who was very charming and fun. Will definitely take another.

Very cozy and I loved opening the slider at night and listening to the water.
