Was actually a music cruise that I attended. The music was fantastic but this review just concerns the ship. I admit I am used to Oceania. This was a first time on NCL for me. I read all the reviews and info previously posted and it was helpful so I just want to add my info. Getting on and off went smoothly.

Bought the spa package as I was warned only one smaller pool was accessible (band stage took up other pool). It was $138 pre-cruise and $168 after boarding. For me it was a waste of money as I did not like the thermolasso pool in the common area - basically a big hot tub with strong currents. Not at all comfortable for more than a few minutes. This area is also very noisy so no relaxing here. The women's area has relaxing loungers but they play this "mood" music incessantly and loudly so it is hard to read. There is NO outdoor space. All areas are contained and no fresh sea air. The best thing about it is the salt scrub for the shower. Also, when on this end of the ship and have to use the bathroom, it was convenient to pop in. I would not spend money on this again. Staff was OK to me although my roommate had a problem when her massage appointment was "lost" and they refused to give her the opening day discount (I was there when she booked.)

Fitness Center - Actually was excellent. Treadmills were not too bouncy - decks were firm and could watch news. Jogging track was also pretty good - just a couple sharp turns around obstacles.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

Cabin BA

My midship balcony cabin was very small but well-designed. Had separated beds with 6" between, small couch and that's it. Friends who have been on this ship several times for this cruise expected more updates from "refurbishment" last year but all they saw was new carpet in the cabins. The beds are definitely not new. If you lay outside the center, your body is at an angle. Still comfortable though but very short. There are no outlets in the bathroom or DVD in the TV. Channels were 2 movie and rest news and sports. Our steward Ana was very nice as were most staff although many did not speak English very well.

Port Reviews

Cozumel

Nothing here but tourist shops and concrete.

Harvest Caye

Nothing here, the mangroves next to the dock are the only natural thing on the "island".
