We were with a party of 31, but we were the only couple of our group who booked the Haven 2 Bedroom suite with two baths. Cabin 17118... With 4200 passengers, the ship is just too big for comfort. HUGE ship. Overeating crowds are everywhere.

THE HAVEN: Rooms are well appointed in the Haven, I can not speak for the cabins outside of this private suite area.

Since The Haven is a private access via card only area, it is what a relaxing cruise should be. Do not bring a hairdryer or magnifying mirror, both are excellent- there were 2 dryers in the family suite. Serving staff is awesome, but I always tip when I get there and again when I leave, even if tips are included in the fare, I just hope most people recognize how hard these people work and do the same. Everyone in this area is top notch when it comes to service.

Cabin Review

Family Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B3

Booked the Haven suite 17118, which is typically for a family, but I need space. I saw the top suite, which gives you more living space and an aft facing large balcony-but just didn't see the value in it for the $. IN ANY EVENT, IF YOU CAN SWING, IT STICK TO THE HAVEN SECTION.

NCL gets many things right: storage, bathrooms, comfortable bed, private bar, private meeting room, private restaurant, two hot tubs (not so hot thought), but the best are the private lounging areas where you do not need to fight for a lounge chair with 4200 guests.

I would not have been able to cope with the crowds on the rest of the ship although we did get out for dinners and entertainment.

Don't bother bringing hairdryers or magnifying mirrors at the Haven Suites. Butlers, and rest of serving staff are awesome-loved them all. Double check the cabin category I listed, not sure of the actual name. Service staff was excellent.

Port Reviews

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

Rented a private cabana at Royal Palms-clean beach

Nassau

This port was eliminated due to a passenger having some sort of medical emergency forcing the ship to go back to Miami

Falmouth

We never made it to Falmouth, had to dock at Ocho Rios-hate it there.

Miami

Stayed at Marriot Doral one day ahead to account for possible weather related delay issues
