Everything was on time except for disembarking one time and then, the crew was extremely apologetic and gave frequent updates. We were told where to wait and how we would be called. Water was offered. Crew seemed genuinely remorseful for the wait. It made us not mind one little bit. Food and restaurant service were superb. Specialty restaurants were fun. Good variety of food at the buffets. Entertainment was beyond our expectations. Everyone was always courteous. The excursions were all high quality with easily understood local guides. Guides were enthusiastic and often passionate about sharing their love for their country. Nothing seemed like a canned response when questions were posed. Port transportation was extremely convenient and easy to use. It made independent exploration of towns and cities carefree. We only had to enjoy our adventures, not worry about how to navigate; this left us with the perfect amount of free time instead of using precious time to figure out the local transportation system. Viking's extraordinary transportation experience is novel and refreshing; it's unlike any other cruise line! The entire Viking atmosphere was high spirited, educational and of the highest standards. Can't wait to take another Viking cruise.
