We decided to go with Carnival after going with several other cruise lines. The embarkation, I would have to say was terrible. Did not move in line for at least 45 minutes. A very long wait to debark due to "only one gang way". However, the cruise director, Matt was great!!!! The entertainment was Awesome!!!! Our cabin was a balcony; if we ever cruise again it will be an ocean view. We did not use it that much. One thing that made me sad, was the employees seem to be sad in my opinion. They seemed to be over worked and understaffed. It was just like another day; yet this was our first time on the vista; this was not another day for us. We did not use the dining room and ate most of our meals at the marketplace. Tried the Italian restaurant; fifth day of the cruise; in hindsight, we should have done it earlier in the cruise. We would recommend Guys burgers and the outdoor barbecue. Both were great. Overall, a very nice ship

This was a nice size room. The bathroom was large enough. Our bed was comfortable but the sleeper sofa seemed hard. One feature we did not like was we had to continue to insert our sign and sail card into the slot to turn the lights on.
