We chose this cruise because we wanted some winter sunshine,visiting the UAE and especially India. The fact it included both Christmas and the New Year was an added bonus.
The ship was fine with a good cabin and excellent cabin attendants. We have been on a number of cruises before and the ships entertainment team were excellent by comparison. There were six sea days and plenty to do with the iLounge classes provided by Kenny and his associate very good.
But come Christmas Eve and Day what a let down we could have been on any cruise anytime of the year and apart from 20 minutes Carol singing by the crew that was it. No gala dinner no hats no Xmas crackers nothing not even a smart dress code we might as well stayed at home.
