We have used Celebrity for cruises before and decided to go away for Christmas and New Year. So when we found the cruise to the Arabian Sea and India in December 2017, we jumped at the chance. We have always wanted to go to India, so we thought a taster would be a good start. In the past, we had only cruised on the Celebrity Eclipse. So we knew the Celebrity Constellation was a smaller ship and was looking forward to seeing and experiencing the ship. The ship was lovely, our cabin was on deck 6, mid ship. We had been lucky in the respect, we had upgraded to a Sky Suite. We had always travelled Aqua Class before. The room was lovely, very modern. We had been told that the ship was old and needed refurbishing. We did see the odd sign of some TLC required, but hardly enough to complain about. The service we had throughout the ship was amazing. The food was excellent, so much choice. With regards to the theatre and the entertainment, we really enjoyed it. The in house entertainment team, was the best we've seen. Because of the Sky Suite status, we had our own restaurant Lluminae to go to. The staff attention to detail was amazing. Look out for Feyzullah the wine Sommelier and waiters Zoraya and Swaraj. The experience of a life time for us, was having Ryan the butler. He was always available if we needed him for anything. He made our holiday perfect. We also had the use of Michael's Club, Nadia the concierge was available for anything we needed, like booking trips, sorting our immigration disembarkation off the ship and much more. With regards to the ports of call, we had a very good taste of the culture and history. A very lovely cruise for Christmas and New Year, starting 2018 in Dubai.
Loved the room, very spacious. Walk in wardrobe, plenty of space for clothing, shoes etc. Also room to store your cases. The ensuite had a bath with a shower, would have preferred a walk in shower, but it was fine. Because the room was in the mid ship area, quite close to the lifts and stairs.
