It was our 5th cruise on Divina (7th with MSC).
Previous Captain of Divina along with First Officers and managers were moved to Seaside and it was a really good change. The new management makes much-much better work than the previous - even though we have not had any problem with the "old" team neither.
During our previous 4 cruise on Divina, we had to watch exactly the same shows every year, so now we expected something new, especially due to the extended length of the cruise.
1251 is a handycap stateroom, therefore double sized than a suite.
We had room for everyone and for everything.
Only negative thing is the shower. Due to the room for disabled, this shower doesn't have plastic wall and doors, just a curtain. Therefore, the bathroom was flooded with water after every bath.
Taxi drivers want more for an 1 mile ride than a stretch limo for one hour in NYC...
There is a beautiful garden at the top of the hill, right beside the port.
The distance is 1 mile (we been there last year, we walked up to the hill which is extremely steep, so this year we decided to ride by a taxi), but the cheapest offer was $40 PER PERSON!
Finally we left the hyenas behind and just took a walk to the town and back to the ship.
It was a special day for MSC, first day of brand new Seaside.
MSC has it's own terminal at Miami (Terminal F), but today, the Seaside was docked there.
Divina was docked in a previous produce warehouse temporary, but the embarkation procedure was really quick.
