***Please note: several months before taking this cruise, I had read some negative comments from past guests. I decided to go on the cruise anyway so that I could form my own opinion. In retrospect, I should have canceled and booked on RCCL or Celebrity. If you are deciding whether or not to cruise with MSC, my overall comment is that this cruise line is not yet ready to compete in the US market. If you're new to cruising, you'll probably like it. If you are an experienced cruiser, i'd suggest sticking with the cruise lines you know and love.***

I was traveling with a group of 10 for Christmas & New Year's (11 nights). We are all seasoned cruisers and this was our first, and ONLY, sailing with MSC. I'll start with my positive remarks:

1. The pizza was the best I've ha in decades!
