We had 3 days stay in Abu Dhabi, to experience the Formula 1 Race at Yas Island Circuit.

The hotel we stayed in Ramada Abu Dhabi Corniche on Mina Street was excellent and offered a free shuttle to and from the circuit on all 3 days which was brilliant. If you are thinking of booking a cruise with the F1 included, ask to be booked into this hotel. The shuttle bus starts from there so you will always get a seat it then stops at various hotels in Abu and we noticed that by the time it got to some of the other hotels it was full and could not accommodate the passengers. The embarkation on the day was quick and well organised and although the cabins were not ready we just explored and relaxed with a drink. We booked Aqua class and our cabin was on deck 9 which has a large overhang above so if you want sun on your balcony avoid Aqua class and deck 9 at all costs. The ship has everything you would expect. We did not use any of the speciality restaurants this time so cannot comment on the quality of these. Food choice upstairs was good, but mostly we ate in Blu restaurant which was excellent and also tried the main restaurant which again was good. The entertainment was varied and spread out throughout the ship..The shows in the theatre were good and we always found a seat. We found it easy to navigate our way around the ship and the lifts are well placed, in fact the layout of the ship is very good. Celebrity cruising is always a nice experience and we had a good holiday.

Cabin Review

Aqua Class Balcony

Cabin A1

Cabin on the whole very nice but the overhang to the balcony meant that you had no sun most of the time, so I would not recommend deck 9l if you like to sit out sunning yourself on the balcony, on the other hand it is cooler in the shade. The cabin steward was friendly and efficient, and kept the cabin clean and well stocked with toiletries.
