This cruise was on our bucket list for years and we finally had the time to do it. We had three places on this cruise we particularly wanted to visit. Santiago, the Falklands and Buenos Aires. And we accomplished that.

Embarkation was a breeze although instructions were somewhat confusing. Princess told us to plan on arriving at 4 based on our cabin location. But there was no way to control that since they changed the port to a real out of the way place about 2 hours from Santiago and we were dropped off by our transportation around 2:30. But we boarded without a problem.

The facilities were clean and adequate on board although we found the layout of the ship somewhat peculiar. All of the entertainment venues were basically on the 6-7th deck. So those floors were packed at all times. There was a very small disco on the 18th deck which can only be accessed from the aft elevators. We never got to test the adequacy of the pool area because the ship encountered gale force winds nearly every day.

10th deck amidships. A perfect location. Cabin was a normal size but a very small shower.

Puerto Montt

Weather did us in. Snow, sleet and fog.
