Cabin: Balcony Stateroom

We selected MSC due to the itinerary to Italy and Greece. Also this ship is relatively new and quite large. The cabins are very beautiful and the balcony huts are just great. The service and staff are very friendly, professional. The quality of the food and the shows are good. The excursions are expensive but well organized and worth the money. The only thing we dislike and would like to recommend to MSC to implement, would be the following:

1) A queuing line at the buffet with a one-directional walking path with your tray. Now sometimes this is absolutely so chaotic, that everyone just moves in all directions.

2) Forbid smoking in the inner parts of the ship, for example the casino. I wanted to gamble more and buy more drinks, but couldn't because of the smoke. This is ridiculous and needs to change. Smoking should only be allowed in very limited areas in the back of the ship. Sometimes we would even smell smoke in our cabin coming from the vents. This is unacceptable. but MSC was quick to tackle this and investigate. Also they send us a complimentary prosecco and chocolates. We find the MSC service to be very good.
