I would rate the experience of the ship a "2.5" but off ship experience a "4.5"!

The itinerary and the stops were great however the onboard experience was less than desirable. The pool and hot tubs were filthy, at night if you walked by the pool when the lights were on you could see that the water was mirky and had a yellowish tint. If your wanting to use the pool or hot tub in this boat, choose a different boat as they are very small. We met several people on the boat who have frequently cruised this route with Norwegian and they too were frustrated with onboard experiance. They told us that Norwegian had made a special deal with Puerto Ricans who wanted to cruise($200.00 per adult and kids under 18 free). In doing so they also apparantly changed up the menu's, lots of hamburger, hot dogs, french fry's, chicken ect when the previous menu's offered more fine dining included with your basic cruise fare. While I have no proof of this only the words of Norwegian's "premier " Latitude cruise members who have cruised previously I can look back and relate. If you have any upcoming trip planned and paid for I would also recommend you go online and check pricing. We booked a port hole view room six months before departure and I went online to check pricing for balcony and suites about a month before departure and found that suites were cheaper than our port hole view room. I called Norwegian and they were very rude at first and would not help, I asked for a manger and re-explained my situation and frustration. They did finally upgrade our room to a balcony (better than nothing) but I still feel they should have done a little more for us.

Our group is the beach type, we wanted to get away from the people that were on the ship and just relax. We did not do any "organized" shore excursions as we felt they were lots of $$$ for what you get. Below are the locations we visited at each port and thoughts.

Room was just OK but I wouldn't put more than 2 people in it. Our bathroom toilet leaked and had a very bad odor from the first time we got into our room.
