Chose this cruise for itinerary as we find days at sea to be relaxing. I've been on about 20+ cruises and my mother has been on close to 40. She has sailed almost every line and her favorite continues to be Celebrity and this cruise did not disappoint. We found embarkation and disembarkation to be easy. No problems there. Great ship layout with good activities.

Had an inside cabin and Celebrity has the most comfortable inside cabins. We are always looking for specials and we were very pleased with the price and the cabin that we found through an email promotion. We have been to these islands many times so we planned our own days at San Juan and St Thomas but took a Celebrity excursion on St Kitt (4x4 safari). As far as the 4x4 safari, we took it in January on an RCCL cruise. Enjoyed it so much that we booked it again. It was that enjoyable.

There was a very positive and upbeat vibe to the entertainment and passenger participation was excellent. Was on an RCCL cruise in January and only 10 people showed up for the Silent Disco and other evening events had only minimal attendance. On the Equinox, the Silent disco, the pool parties had good turnouts and people were really enjoying themselves.

Cabin Review

Inside Stateroom 11

Cabin 11

We purchased this cruise through one of their email specials. It was a great price and the inside cabins are the best for any cruise line. Spacious with lots of storage space and closets. We also like the layout - enough furniture to be comforable but still allow good flow in the room.

Port Reviews

San Juan

Given the recent challenges, we were impressed with Old San Juan. The streets we walked were clean. We visited a few shops (many are still closed but they are moving quickly to open up) and favorite restaurants. We had an enjoyable afternoon.

St. Thomas

Sadly, we thought st Thomas showed more hurricane damage than the places we visited in san juan. They were still having power problems and had power outages but the people were so friendly and we went to our favorite little stores and restaurants. We are not beach people but had hear Magen's Bay was open.
