The celebrity.com price offered an economical great pre-holiday get away from the New England chills. It was a last minute decision to go with less than three weeks of planning! Embarkation and debarkation were rapid and efficient. Our request for a large dining table was honored and we met some interesting new cruise friends. There was an abundance of choices for activities - both passive and engaging. The ship is elegantly, but simply decorated on the minimalist side. The layout is outstanding; the wide open public spaces become one with the smaller, more closed environments. The main theater is perfect and the sound was never blaring! The multiple live bands are an asset. The entertainers do give it their all and it was interesting to see contemporary pop music woven into the productions but I still enjoy the old music standards and wish they too had been included. One comedian was engaging but the second was just "mailing in" his performance. The mainline act called Uptown provided a great reprieve from the traditional song and dance productions. The intimate movie theater is also a welcomed attribute. We enjoyed our week away.
Large for inside cabin; decent storage space; bathroom seemed much larger than most inside or balcony cabins on other ships. Well maintained by the steward. Quiet space but easily accessible to central elevators. Directly behind the library.
