This is an older ship but I felt it was very clean and well cared for. I traveled alone and met some wonderful people on this cruise. I also met and heard the complainers. It is embarrassing to see someone talk down to a server or a staff member over something trivial. I understand your soup might be a minute late but a bit of gratitude goes a long way. I really enjoyed the harmony of all the staff. This is a group that comes from all over the world and makes it work. I never saw laziness, disrespect or eye rolling unless it was from a rude passenger. Embarrassing. Needless to say, most folks were very kind and thankful that the staff was sincerely concerned that they were happy. It is easy to forget that their lives and possibly the well being of their families depends on keeping this employment. I saw that commitment.

The food was good. Not over the top but very good. I am a chef and I understand what this takes. I felt the specialty dining was the best. Generally I was pleased.

There was a plumbing issue by my cabin and the staff was very concerned with my well being. It wasn't the squeaky wheel gets the .oil. They wanted me happy.
