This is my our 3rd cruise. We arrived in Galvaston on Dec.1st and checked into the Beach Comber Inn, which was very nice.. Galvaston is a wonderful place to explore. We went to Dickens on the Strand on Saturday, which was wonderful there was a lot to do and very entertaining. Come Monday morning Dec,4 we parked at Lighthouse parking at about 9 and was shuttled very quickly to Vision of the Seas. There was no waiting to check in, At about 10;45 we boarded the ship. The ship was small enough to learn your way around very quickly. Cabins were open 1;00, We had a O.V. 2560 it was fantastic. The food was good but nothing to really to brag about. Service was best out of three cruisies we have been on. The ports we just walked around and shop. At Progresso we walked into town just a little. You need to know Spanish if you plan on doing very much on your own. At Cozumel the vendors were a little to pushy the farther you got from the tourist area. Debarkation was quick we were in our car by 8;30
We love Galvaston always find lots to do.
