Took my family of four for a four day cruise over Thanksgiving on the Indy. We were first time cruisers and did a lot of research on this site and others so I feel it's fair to return my views.

We left out of Port Everglades and were told to show up at 12:30pm, however we arrived at 11:09am and that was a great call. Dropped the luggage at the porter, tipped them $10 straight to parking and then the shuttle back. Thru security, took 10 mins and then check in took another 10 mins and then boarded. We got a picture taken and them both lanyards for our sea pass cards. We were eating lunch at the Windjammer before noon. It was excellent. Everyone at the port and check in were very helpful and friendly.

Another good reason to get there early besides skipping the crowds is the ability to tour the ship. We saw so much in a couple of hours with no crowds, it was great

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E3

Nice clean room. Top and back of ship. Very quite with a sofa bed and nice balconly. It's a small room but slept four comfortable for a four night cruise, however I was ready to get home after it. Bed was very firm but worked for us.
