Leaving from Baltimore was a breeze. Stayed at the Best Western right up the highway from the pier, right off 95, the night before. Free shuttle to pier and parking was included for the 13 days. Check in was quick and easy. We were on the ship by 10:45am and felt like we gained an extra day. Crew was very friendly as were other shipmates! We had a room just off the Centrum, so everything was quick and easy to get to on the ship. Ate in the Windjammer for breakfast (opened at 6:30am) and lunch. Very good variety of foods every day. Ate at Park Café when back on the ship later after an excursion. Had early, 5:30, seating for dinner in Main Dining room. Staff was friendly in MDR, but service inconsistent. Timing off a few nights. Food was good, but not exceptional. Big push to get you to go to specialty restaurants, but we have excellent Italian and steak houses nearby, so we were not interested. Two nights the same steaks from the specialty restaurant were discounted and could be served in main dining room. Filet for $10 and T-bone for $16. Wide variety of shows; comedian, singers, dancers, pianist, juggler, ventriloquist, hypnotist. Plenty of activities. Big screen on pool was not used that much. Wished they had shown a film on sea days, but it was short clips of mostly blooper type activities. Pool is small in both open deck and solarium, so it did get crowded in afternoon. Chairs easy to secure. No issues there. Ports were great and easy off and on. St Kitts we were berthed at an alternative commercial port so taxi needed to access shops which left many folks not too happy. I tried one RC excursion in Antigua and was not happy as we had wait for late folks who actually were already on the bus. Lack of communication. Private excursion through Viator was excellent in Martinique. Shared taxi for beaches in St Kitts, Barbados. Went on own in St Lucia which made taxi ride more expensive, but beaches were great. Always felt welcomed on all the islands.

Cabin Review

Family Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin FF

Rectangle shaped with door to room, bathroom and closet all in one spot which made that congested. Bed was fine, firm. Cabin had a love seat and desk with drawers. Plenty of storage for two. Room did have drop down bunks. Shelves in closet on one end.
