I had not done a Royal Caribbean cruise and have only heard superlatives and have recommended and booked quite a few over the years. This cruise out of South Hampton was the ideal cruise for us as we wanted to visit South West England and go to France and Belgium to visit the Canadian War Memorials and Dunkirk. Embarking in South Hampton and disembarking in Le Harve make it the ideal cruise.

I can honestly say there were areas where I was disappointed.....maybe minor, however, not what I had experienced on the other cruise line I have sailed on. (Norwegain, Princess, Celebrity and Carnival)

- On occasions there was no cutlery in several dispensers in the buffet at breakfast and lunch and you had to search it out.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

The cabin was larger then expected and quite lovely. I understand the ship is to undergo refurbishing next year, however, it did not really look tired at all. There was so me minor wear in some areas on the carpet but over all a lovely ship.
