We booked this ship because of its size and newness. The ship was very nice but it seemed to be understaffed. Even with the large number of passengers onboard the ship didn't feel crowded except in the pool areas. The stateroom staff was efficient and friendly and the ship was kept very clean.

Embarkation: We arrived at Port of Miami and waited approximately 45 minutes to get through security and into the terminal. I had originally booked an ocean view room but upon arrival I checked with guest services to see if there were any balcony rooms available that we could upgrade to. There was and we were offered the upgrade and a very nice price. We upgraded to a Spa Balcony stateroom on deck 12, (room 12202). We were told to go to Guest Services on the ship and notify them to have our bags moved from our original room to our upgraded room. We were told that our bags would arrive early in the afternoon. After several hours and after being at sea for a few hours, we went looking for our bags. Nobody at guest services could help with our problem so we went to the original floor which we were booked on AGAIN and talked to a room steward and a supervisor and asked if all of the bags had been delivered to which we were told that they had delivered al bags. We asked if someone could check our original room to see if, by chance, the bags had been placed inside. By now my wife was nearing a meltdown with the thought of not having any clothes or belongings on the ship with us. The supervisor contacted the room steward for the original room and was told that no bags were put in any room but possibly the bags could be in a hall behind Guest Services. We walked up a few floors and through a set of doors to an area behind guest services and found about forty bags setting in this hallway and all of the baggage tags had been removed. Luckily our bags were there. We have no idea why anyone would remove the original tags or if they did, why they didn't replace them with proper tags. Needless to say that didn't start the cruise well at all. We finally got our bags around 7:45 pm.

Atrium: The Atrium area was very nice and the lighted cone in the center was very pretty. It was very different from the eight story Atrium areas with glass elevators on other ships. It did have a nice bar area but throughout the cruise the service was very slow. We did notice that there were no servers offering drinks upon entering the ship as we have experienced on other ships.

Cabin Review

Cloud 9 Spa Balcony

Cabin 8S

The cabin was very nice with a lot of storage area. The bathroom was adequate and the balcony was nice.

Port Reviews

Ocho Rios

We were hassled from the time we got off the ship until we got to the beach from locals wanting to sell you anything from weed to shells to hair beads and wristbands. If we take another cruise and Ocho Rios is a port of call , we will probably stay on the ship.

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

We rented a car and drove around the island site seeing. We had been here before and did some of the water excursions. We would like to go back.
