Not the usual embarkation for NOLA. We waited a long time in the terminal. I think we boarded with priority about 12 30 PM. All cabins were not ready until nearly 5. We were suppose to sail at 4 PM. Material and bags still on the dock at 5 30 PM. I think we left at 6 PM
Rumor was 1/2 the crew changed on re-position from Alaska. I believe it. Some were good as expected. Others did not care. Others were poorly trained. Even guest services was awful. The first day I asked for the concierge phone number. Said they didn't have it ???? Well find it ! I went to deck 13 to find the concierge. A few days later we overheard a lady say guest services did not give her the Specialty Dining times, and had missed 2. Another WHAT ? We chimed in about seeing the Dining Reservation person just left of Guest Services.

Obstructed Oceanview
I like deck 8 or higher on this class of ship. Good location had it not been for multiple problems. Below here are the shops on deck 7. Every night about 11 PM till 11 20 PM they would slam their doors close. It would cause a ringing sound in the ship's steel.
Outside our window was a compressor in need of repair. It would run 10 seconds or so every half hour. A repair crew was taken aboard in L.A., and knew of this problem.
When we came into room the first time. The shower had not been cleaned. The previous guests articles were in the shower. Did the cabin get cleaned at all ?
Also the wife has allergies. I think the new-ish carpet gave her sinus and coughing problems. It even seemed to bother me. I could leave for a few hours and clear up.

Cozumel
Just went to some shops. Bought tequila. Stayed a while at Casa del Habanos at the plaza.
Roatan
took a taxi from outside the port area to Sandy Bay and Blue Playa.
Harvest Caye
You pay for everything. Upon close inspection from an upper deck. You can see the trash in mangroves. It needs to be cleaned out !
Would have taken water taxi to Placencia, but wife was afraid it might rain.
Costa Maya
Usually go to Mahahaul and beach. This time since we third ship to dock and smallest. Just wandered in the tourist shopping area.
