I chose this cruise for the convenient dates and the itinerary, the Canaries being a favorite destination of mine. This was my first time with Celebrity.

Embarkation and disembarkation were exemplary from my standpoint, the only downside being that breakfast on the last day in the Ocean View Cafe was a bit sparse with staff trying hard to keep up with the demand; this was at 7 in the morning.

The ship I found to be elegant and well maintained and my cabin 1029 was adequately serviced at concierge class. Although the canapés arrived every day promptly, unless you are into raw fish (sushi type cuisine) they are really not worth paying for. Likewise the fruit; if you suffer from indigestion with green apples, pretty though they are, they are not worth paying for.

Perhaps a little tired but for a single person it was more than adequate. For a couple, the space around the bed is a bit restrictive, but the bathroom was a splendid size by comparison to others I have experienced.
