Slumdog Millionaire as the evening's main entertainment? What is that about?
Food that was such a disappointment, similar to cafeteria food, mystery meat covered with a variety of inedible sauces. I will give credit to the lamb chops, served twice, superb!!! Our dining room staff couldn't have been better and tried to inform us of the most palatable items on the menu. They definitely didn't recommend the steak! The buffet, except for breakfast, was pitiful with the same items served daily (or maybe it was leftovers from the night before). The dining room was closed for lunch everyday, but two, and one of those was a brunch, so that was not an option.
Our cabin, a veranda on deck 7, appeared to have been recently renovated. Everything looked new, LCD flatscreen TV, bathroom was spotless with much storage and a bigger shower than most of this class. However, I guess they have cut down on staff, as our room was not made up till lunch time and when flowers died, they remained on the coffee table till the end of the cruise. Also, invitations to Elite activities were not delivered in a timely manner. Our tip vouchers appeared when we returned to our cabin after the final floor show. I had to run to the dining room to deliver them to the appropriate staff.
Cabin 7161, great location, decor new, storage good, shower bigger than most of this class, quiet, balcony nice/
