Owning a Hotel ourselves, we are not difficult or demanding customers by any stretch of the imagination as we understand how difficult it can be to please all guests, but we do like our vacation time to temporarily remove us from the 24/7 stresses and strains of running our own busy Hotel, Restaurant & Function business. We have cruised a few times before with other Companies, but this was our first time with Royal Caribbean.

As we had such a busy Summer season at our own Hotel, we did not manage a Vacation during the School break and felt rather guilty that our 7 and 9 year old had spent much of their Summer holidays bored trying to entertain themselves at our family business. We, therefore, decided to book a vacation that would really focus upon them whilst showing us a good time too.

We began our vacation with 3 nights at the Theme Park, Port Aventura in Salou - an hour, or so from Barcelona. Best theme park we have ever visited!

Cabin Review

Junior Suite

Cabin JS

Perfect size for ourselves with 2 adults and 2 kids (7 & 9). Great closet and balcony with 2 chairs, table and 2 loungers. It did show some wear and tear here and there, but with Ships needing to maximise occupancy, of course there will be some wear and tear. Go with an open and sensible mind! It is a Stateroom within a constantly occupied and in use Ship - it is not an operating Theater!
