Sail Date: Aug 2017
Cabin: Outside Stateroom with French Balcony
Ancient Roman bridge foundation in Germany as we passed beneath the bridge
Unique feature buildings well maintained in small towns along the route wit
Wild swans occasionally along shoreline almost the whole journey.

Objective was to see Germany and picturesque river castes up close. Guides were very knowledgeable and understandable! We want to take another river cruise, maybe in England and Scotland, and to finish our German river cruise on other rivers.

Very restful and relaxing. Would like to be able to see ahead in addition to seeing alongside. Would like a "captain's chair" or two in the room.

Food and service was excellent with a great variety (but the food labels were too small).

Cabin Review

Outside Stateroom with French Balcony

Excellent. More room in bathroom than on our previous ocean liner cabins. Large wall mirrors and sliding glass doors made room seem more open. Cabin closer to smoother water and swans than ocean going liners. Could see people fishing on the river banks. Quiet. Smooth.

Port Reviews

Nuremberg

Totally disappointed. Nuremberg was not on the tour, but our tour ended on a canal on the outskirts of the city, and we did not get to see anything of Nuremburgk even when boarding the bus or driving through the city for the next leg of our journey.
