We chose this cruise to see the fall colours and we were rewarded even though the season is late this year. The places we visited were all fantastic and we would visit them again. The down side of this was visiting so many ports without a break left us very tired. The ship was kept a lot cleaner and in better condition than Star Princess. The restaurant was great and the food excellent. The buffet was inadequate and needs to be reconfigured so that food is served behind glass. At present it is a health hazard. The organisation of excursions varied from disastrous to excellent. A few were 'meet on the docks' along with twenty other excursions in a small space with hardly any seating or standing room and a race for the buses when announced. A lot of pushing in was allowed causing upset. Overbooking led to people being excluded from the excursion. With so many ports there was little time to be involved with the ship's activities. The theatre was too small and the times for performances were ridiculous. The first performance should be during the first sitting for dinner, not after. result was an overlap of people from first and anytime diners going to dinner later al,l vying for seats at the same time. The second performance at 10 o'clock was not full. We were only able to see one show. The room attendants and the restaurant staff were excellent and work very hard. The passenger service staff were not very friendly and had problems UNDERSTANDING and speaking English resulting in poor service. In general, the cruise was great and I could thoroughly recommend it.
