We chose Liberty of the Seas for our 10th wedding anniversary trip because it's the same ship we took on our honeymoon. I had my doubts because it's an older ship, but we were very pleasantly surprised. It's been renovated very nicely and the experience was incredible. It was my kid's first time on a cruise and to sum it up, they asked if we could stay to live on the ship! They enjoyed the kid's club very much, as well as all other activities on the ship that they were old enough to try. We went ice skating which was a lot of fun, the theater which was an amazing type cirque du soleil production. The water rides / slides were a lot of fun, and the rock wall climbing was a favorite of my 8 year old daughter. The kid's pool was a lot of fun and they couldn't get enough of ice cream cones by the pool! The food was very high quality and delicious, the service was outstanding. The kids are already asking when we can go back!
The cabin was very well laid out with a large bed and two bunk beds for the kids above our bed.
We arrived a night before the cruise to Galveston, we really enjoyed Pleasure Pier for dinner and a fun time!
We took a cab and went to a place that the information booth on port suggested where we could snorkel. We had our own snorkeling gear. It was AMAZIG!!!
We asked at the information booth on port where we could go snorkeling, it wasn't as beautiful or colorful as in Cozumel, but we did see a lot of big beautiful fish.
We bought tickets at the information booth on shore for Red Stripe Beach, it was a very nice beach, very clean and excellent service!
