All the artwork in the Venetian Dining Room was partially painted over with stripes and blocks to try and create a modernistic style (?) And many people found it to be a disappointing distraction.

The NCL Dawn is lacking in public and private meeting areas that meant that the few public areas available were often taken over by events such as an art auction.

Quality of food in the Venetian Dining Room was very good, we tried four of the pay per use dining rooms that required additional payment, either flat rate or priced per item. The Moderno Dining Room had an excellent salad bar but all the meat served on skewers was not freshly cooked and was only warm when served. Cagney's Steak house was excellent.
