My husband and I had not vacationed without kids in 23 1/2 years -- and we treated ourselves!! We booked this cruise to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and to honor/celebrate my husband who has battled medical issues this past year. After his first surgery he announced "When this is all done, you and me are going on a trip!"

And what a trip we took!

While the weather was not ideal, the cruiseline certainly 'stepped up' and ensured indoor activities were plentiful.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D1

The cabin was spacious, clean and well-appointed. All of the amenities needed and storage was a plus! The bathroom was spacious and impeccable. Our room choice was a definite plus for the cruise--the balcony provided add'l space to relax/enjoy each other with a cocktail or two.

The room from the bedding to the pillows, to the cleanliness and the turn down service was nothing short of ample.

While we did have an issue that needed service, the staff was readily available to fix the issue (3x) and did so in a timely, efficient manner.

And, of course, the 'towel animals/sea creatures' were delightful!!!!!

Our cabin steward, Edy Supeno, was the best of the best. He always greeted us with a smile, 'how was your day', is everything going well, etc. Having him kmow our names and address us daily that way was remarkable. He is a definite asset to your cruiseline and we'd like to recommend him to be recognized.
