This cruise was to visit 5 ports in south Caribbean and due to Hurricane Maria, visited St Croix and headed to Aruba and Bonaire instead. All this was totally reasonable and passengers adjusted expectations accordingly. As a past customer of RC and Celebrity both in Mediterranean and Caribbean, this cruise showed how much RC has run down the services provided to and expected by passengers.

Examples were , on previous cruises we have always enjoyed using the Solarium and swimming and reading in the quiet space it provides, this wasn't possible due to relentless rubbish music being played loudly in next door open pool, and constant bingo, bingo, bingo and jewelry sale announcements over the loudspeaker at ridiculously loud volumes. There was literally no where quiet to read or relax on the ship unless you stayed in your cabin.

Nighttime entertainment was mostly provided by passengers in karaoke bar and deck 14 nightclub had same monotonous techno music every night. Only night that people appeared to dance and join in was the 70s night in royal promenade where again the passengers did most of the work whilst Elvis and some tired dancers lip synced to sound tracks, this all took place in crowded promenade instead of up on level 14 where more seats, space was available. Other nighttime entertainment consisted of comedy show and hypnotist, again little real entertainment effort put in by RC.
