this was my 5th cruise with carnival, and my 2nd on the valor.my other 4 cruises were excellent!
This one was a cruise from h... right from embarkment.First thing is im wheelchair assist for getting on .when i got to the terminal i was told there would be an hour wait for a wheelchair .BUT IF I COULD WALK THE 100 YRD TO THE WAITING AREA UPSTAIRS THEY WOULD GET ME ONE.well i said i would try but when we got to the elevator i was told i couldnt use it(by the way i use a walker to walk)that i had to use the escalator. 2 carnaval people held me up and 1 took my walker up .at this point i have jarred my knee and am exhausted.we finally get to the line and i am told to go through and set my sighn and sale up then they would get me a wheelchair.
the sheets on our bed were not changed till fri morning.there was a stain in the corner of one that is how i know they werent changed.they went 3 days with out vacuming the crumbs on the floor stayed that long.I ordered the continental breakfast from roomserviceto be delivered between 6 and 630 .the first time they were 1 and a half hours late ,the 3rd time they never took my order off the door so didnt show up at all.there was a few more things but that is the worst money i have spent
we ate at the steakhouse for my husbands birthday. the steak as always was spot on wonderful.he wasnt impressed with the sides ,but that is personal preference.
i chose to stay on board at the ports. mainly from the pain in my knee at embarkment. carniva
l has always before been great but this time they dropped the ball big time. i did recieve a letter from carnival voicing there regrets of my treatment. but i expected a little more .even a free drink or money off my next cruise just something.....but got nothing do they care?
