First sailing aboard the Escape and we loved the ship. We have previously sailed aboard the sister ship Breakaway out of NYC. Embarkation in Miami was easy and terrific, with very little wait to get through security and on board the ship. Disembarkation was even easier, with a smooth exit and excellent service from the porters in Miami. Our Family Balcony stateroom was clean and comfortable, and just the right size for two of us. Service on the ship was excellent, from the room steward, to the dining staff and the Guest Services desk. Especially considering the week and days leading up to our cruise the staff had to endure some very uncertain and stressful circumstances with Hurricane Irma affecting all of Florida.

The ports were beautiful: Roatan, Harvest Caye, Costa Maya and Cozumel. They had all had something for everyone, whether you wish to just kick back and relax on gorgeous beaches, take in cultural sites or something a bit more adventurous.

Dining options were plentiful and delicious. Everything from the complimentary dining to the specialty venues were well- staffed and excellent menus available. We especially liked the live music in the Manhattan Room each night during dinner service.
