I actually did not know what cruise line to choose since I never have been on a cruise. While I was looking at some options I came across Norwegian with pictures of Alaska, that I wanted to go see. Unfortunately, I did not shop around and I probably should of. I was not entirely impressed with the whole process. Unfortunately, this was not an all inclusive cruise and everything had to be purchased separately. If I didn't upgrade my dining and drink package, for sure it would of been boring. I did not care for the food at all. To me it was just glorified hospital food. Nothing special, never really tasted any seasoning on the food. The majority of the entertainment was real good. The magician was not good :( It seemed anything fun had to be bought? $$$$ The view and sights were gorgeous though and my cabin was acceptable. Cruising to another state and then some, I would hope I would of got a better deal on souvenirs, but I didn't, even those were expensive? I spent more than I wanted to? The part of the cruise that disappointed me most was when I booked a shore excursion, Toward my appt time, I became ill and had to go lie down. I was not able to make it so 1 hr later I went back to the desk to request a refund and they gave me such a hard time. I even told them I would apply it to another but they kept brushing me off. The morning we docked home they finally returned it back to me. Terrible customer service. No movie theater, nothing exciting. Also the buffet on Mexican food night was so bad I was in the restroom all night praying to the porcelain god? Sorry never again with NCL. :(

I like my cabin. I had a balcony cabin. Thank goodness for that because then the cruise would of been a big flop?
