I chose this cruise to take my Grand Children on our yearly Grand Children vacation during the Labor Day week.
We have done this cruise before with other Grand Children ages 6 - 12.
The only real positive thing I can say is the "Splash Academy" is still top of the line.
Worked out really good for my 2 grandsons and me. They has cartoons to watch while dressing in the morning. And Soccer to watch as they fell asleep. They enjoyed the shower and the flushing system. Room stewards made the towels up for them at night into animals, they really got a kick out that.
Took the Ranger tour, was disappointing. The Ranger spend more time on his opinion and did not cover the history as on earlier visits to Skagway. Took the train ride and bus back, Grand Children enjoyed the venue. Made it back in time for debarkation.
Had just enough time to go to Glacier take in the show and walk to the Glacier.
No time for sight seeing or shopping.
We took the bus to Totem Museum, walked in Old town and just made it to the Alaskan Lumber Jack show. The just made it back to the ship.
Took a cab into Victoria, sent the Grand Children on a handsome cab ride. He really entertained them, Short walk around town for Queen's candy and toy store. Back to ship on time.
