We chose this cruise because we went with my husbands's brother and his wife. They had previously gone on a Viking River Cruise. The service on the ship, the included tours, transportation from airport to ship and from ship to tour sites was all well planned and easy to follow. We specially liked the greeting from the ship's crew when we returned from shore. One day several on them were lined up and singing and dancing to welcome us back. The food on board was excellent with many choices. We are going on another Viking cruise...this time a river cruise in France in October 2018. We're looking forward to it.

We departed from Athens and spent a day in port there before the cruise left.

We went on the included tours but make sure to sign up as soon as you can as they fill up. But the optional tours are good also, but there are extra charges for these. Read more
