Cabin: Large Spa Ocean-View Stateroom

Our cabin was luxurious, the food exceptional, and the scenery awesome. Service by all staff was A++ and that is what made the week so memorable. We didn't want to leave.

We chose this cruise for the scenery, so were very satisfied with going through the buffet for meals. Not only was the food delicious and varied each meal, we usually were able to sit near a window. A whale with breakfast? Check. I think our favorite meal was the roast beef. They did it perfectly. Don't miss the trout. That was pretty good, too! Breakfast offered the usual, but I thought the freshly made crepes and waffles were a special treat. Just being able to wander down the line, pick what looks interesting and eat it was a true luxury for this mom. They offered separate burger and pizza places that made to order. Both were worth a wait in line.

The highlight of the cruise for us was getting up close to the glaciers. What a thrill! How nice to have National Park Rangers join us to explain what we were seeing. On the way we saw mountain goats, bears, puffins, gulls, and sea otters. Quite an exciting day.

Cabin Review

Large Spa Ocean-View Stateroom

Cabin CQ

Our cabin was spacious and luxurious with a very large window towards the bow. It was great to sit and watch the wide angle forward view. The bed was very comfortable, so we slept well each night. Plenty of lighting throughout the cabin. Everything is provided including soap, shampoo, lotion, a loofah, hair dryer and makeup mirror. You just need your toothbrush and clothes for this trip.

The cabin stewards were very attentive and our room was kept sparkling clean. We especially enjoyed the whimsical towel sculptures we found each evening. Some merited names;-))

Have to say, we weren't sure about cruising but as soon as we saw our cabin we knew we would love the experience. And we did.

Port Reviews

Glacier Bay

Outstanding experience to get so close to a fading landscape of our world. National Park Rangers enriched the day.

Victoria

We just went out the the duty free store to say we had been in Victoria. Did enjoy the artists' booth. Beautiful and creative stuff

Seattle

Sparkling Seattle. It's so beautiful in the sunshine.

Have to say, for a city full of engineers, the street entry to the port is quite confusing and very inefficient.

Once on the ship, all was well.
