Wonderful tour by Tracey of Wild Wolf Tours.  She is a native and took us to Totem Bite Park where she shared the history of the totem poles and told their stories.  Next we took a hike through the Tonga Rain Forrest where we saw a bear catch and eat a salmon  from a platform over the river.  Finally on to another location where we saw two more bears (more in the distance).  She provided a delicious snack of salmon dip and crackers plus bottled water.  She was very informative and so nice.  She also stopped us at the local Safeway so we could use the facilities and get our Starbucks (I also wanted a Starbucks Alaska mug, which I got).  This was a fantastic tour.

This was a fantastic cruise bringing you right up to the glaciers (a quarter mile).  We saw wildlife and beautiful waterfalls - once so close we could almost touch it (probably could have from the top deck).  They also provided coffee, hot chocolate and donut holes with other snacks for sell.  The crew brought in some glacier ice and we were able to have ices water with a chuck of glacier ice.  What a great experience this excursion was.

JJ was an amazing guide who took us along the route of the train up through the Yukon.  Her knowledge of the history of the gold rush and the area was extensive and interesting.  We were able to stop where ever we wanted for pics and she also doubled as our photographer for our group pics.  We went to the Yukon Suspension Bridge - very fun, but much more crowded than the first time we went.  We also stopped at Bridal Veil Falls for picks, tormented valley, Emerald Lake, Carcross and Caribou Crossing.  We stopped and picked wild blueberries and had an amazing time.  We saw and played with the puppies being trained for the Iditarod, went to an amazing taxidermy museum and had lunch at a local place for elk sausage and bison burgers - fantastic.  We had a 6 hour tour that stretched to 7 hours and it actually cost of less than if the six of us had purchased round trip tickets on the train.  We were in a love shuttle for 14 (even though only 6) with huge windows and a speaker system so everyone could hear what she was saying.  This the second time my husband and I used Frontier Excursions and would highly recommend them to anyone.  It was fantastic!

We love Victoria and come up here when we get the chance.  Just spent our time walking through the city, watching the buskers and doing some shopping.  Love Rogers Chocolates and David's Teas (Murchies was closed).  Also got a chance to buy products at Lush at a discount with the exchange rate (be sure to use your credit card otherwise they just do an equal exchange for American to Canadian dollars and you end up with Canadian dollars you might not get a chance to spend).

My husband and I have only been on two other cruises - one to Alaska on the Norwegian Pearl and one in Southern Calif on the Crown Princess, so not a lot to compare it too, but I did find there were much better dining options on both of these ships and the specialty restaurants on Princess and NCL were much more reasonable, as well.Also, in Juneau we queued up to ride the small shuttle because it was such a long walk, but after being at the front of the line through 3 shuttle pick ups while the crew who were managing it just let people swam on, we finally just walked ourselves to the end of the pier so that we didn't miss our excursion (although they would have waited as it was a private tour for the 6 of us.
