We drove 10.5 hours and sailed out of Galveston on Liberty of the Seas. This was our third cruise and our first with RCI. Embarkation from Galveston was decent. Our hotel included parking for the week and a free shuttle ride to and from the port. Disembarkation was a very long process with nothing to do while we waited to get off the ship.
The food, the service, the entertainment/activities, and the ship overall were good, but not exceptional.
Our cabin was dated and the bathroom had mold in several places. We only had 2 outlets to plug in phones, etc. for a 5-person family cabin. Size of the cabin was decent (for a cruise ship).
Cabin was spacious (for a cruise ship) for a family of 5. Room decor was dated. Only 2 available electrical outlets. Bathroom had mold in several locations.
