It was a bucket list item to go to Giverny and was going to England for a tour of English gardens. Thought since I would be there so close that I would include the Paris tour. The trip was well organized, from finding the Viking Tour people at the airport when we arrived to being escorted through the airport by a representative when we left. Almost every experience was perfect, especially with the system of earphones that connected to the guides. The only negative was on the only excursion we paid for - Versailles. The crowds were large and extremely rude.
The cabin was comfortable and very nicely decorated, as was the entire ship. The chef and wait staff were accommodating of my food allergies. They were sociable and pleasant, you could tell them enjoyed their jobs.
I enjoyed the pace of the trip with excursions most days and then time to just sit and watch the "world" go by. I would suggest a menu that provided choices for just a sandwich and fruit at the smaller restaurant, rather than a full meal.
The large window in the cabin helped make a small space not feel cramped. There were several times that my husband and I sat on the bed and watched the river go by. The cabin had a good amount of storage so we were not living out of suitcases. The cleaning person was very good, the place was cleaned and straightened up at least twice a day. I really appreciated the small refrigerator included.
