We are recently back from a cruise where we were given an interconnecting cabin. I noticed this myself on deck plans about 2 weeks before we left and contacted my travel agent to have it changed, but it was too late. We were assured it would be fine so went ahead. PLEASE DO NOT book such a cabin unless you are going with family.

We went through an awful time with noise and disturbance because of this door. MSC should be ASHAMED of themselves as the sound proofing is non-existent! I complained every night at Guest Services and even had a meeting with the Guest Services Manager, but had absolutely no luck and was told the ship was completely booked. In other words, suffer for a whole 7 nights! We had a young child with us and it was distressing for all of us not being able to sleep properly and be woken up early in the morning when our neighbours got up!

Food is only lukewarm in the buffet and repeats itself most nights. Needs much more variety. Not enough space to sit and have a drink at night, even though there are huge amounts of empty space where tables and chairs could be placed. Also Deck 7 has a huge area assigned for a champagne bar, which is empty most evenings!
